Tree Street Trauma and Attachment Center

Tree Street Trauma and Attachment Center at Connections for Kids provides Outpatient Mental Health Services as a satellite office to our South Portland location. At our Auburn office we serve child and adults impacted by trauma exposure to acute incidents such as chronic abuse, neglect, loss and accidents. The Auburn office is safe and inviting environment.

For services we offer:

  • Screening, assessments and referrals – Rapid Access
  • Brief and long term individual therapy for children and adults
  • Family therapy
  • Co-occurring with substance abuse
  • Group therapy

Our team of clinicians use a trauma-informed, strength based approach which utilize a wide array of evidence-based treatments and other interventions. These interventions include but are not limited to Psychoeducation, Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivation Interviewing, parental skill building and co-parenting counseling.
