Community Based Children’s Services
Home and Community Based Treatment (HCT)
HCT is a home based behavioral health service for youth and families in need of a more intensive treatment than our outpatient therapy. Serves are provided by a master’s level clinician and a bachelor’s level Behavioral Health Specialist (BHP). This in home treatment offers strategies to help children and families manage mental health symptoms, function better in home, school and the community and prevent hospitalization.
Targeted Case Management
Connections for Kids’ Community Support Services – Targeted Case Management delivers services by licensed BA level social workers (LSW or LSX) to children and young adults ages 0-20 years old who meet Maine Care eligibility requirements and live in Maine.

Outpatient Services for Children and Families
Providing outpatient services that include, therapy for children, adults and families. Offering counseling, family therapy, individual therapy and assessments, and treatment for clients with problem sexual behaviors. Clinicians are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
Tree Street Trauma and Attachment Center
Tree Street Trauma and Attachment Center at Connections for Kids provides Outpatient Mental Health Services as a satellite office to our South Portland location. At our Auburn office we serve child and adults impacted by trauma exposure to acute incidents such as chronic abuse, neglect, loss and accidents. The Auburn office is safe and inviting environment.

RCS – Rehabilitative Community Support Services
Rehabilitative Community Support Services are home and community based behavioral health services designed for children with development delays; including autism, intellectual disability and developmental disability.
